Your Child’s Day

Use the children’s interests to help learn:

  1. Math – number writing, recognition and counting, graphing, 1-1 correspondence, predictions, etc.
  2. Science – hands on activities
  3. Cooking – measuring, discussing ingredients
  4. Art – use of different mediums, open-ended activities
  5. Language – letter recognition, printing names, rhymes, stories, use of Spanish – words, numbers, fundamental conversation, finger plays, music and movement
  • Implementing the S.E.E.D.S – Early Literacy Program
  • Encourage independence and help self skills
  • Encourage large motor activities – play soccer, baseball, basketball, ride tricycles, practice on climbing equipment
